Doing the Laundry

The tub that they are standing in has the laundry in it. The clothes get clean by stompping out the dirt. This is outside my hotel window. I love the people at the hotel they are fun to hang out with. They speak no English so I practice my Vietnamese with them.

Do the clothes washers wear shoes when they stamp the dirt out of the clothes in the tub?

Hey Ms.Winzeler its Spencer. I was wondering when they wash the clothes do they put any type of cleaner in there or do they just put water in the tub?

WOW! =/ That's kind of weird! But are the clothes actually
clean? Even
though this may
seem strange to
many, I find it interesting.
Do the people wear
shoes when they stomp on the clothes, and have you
had your clothes done like this?
That's really cool!
Hope you have fun!

I hope you are having a great time on your trip! I was wondering if you have had your clothes washed like this and do what you think about your clothes being stomped on to get them clean :)

I know this may seem strange to many but I think it is cool how they wash clothes in Vietnam. I was just wondering - do you have to pay to get your clothes washed? Mrs. Winzeler I know this trip has made you start to really love butterflies. I am really looking forward into working with you after EOG's with my fourth block class (Mrs. Mabry). Have Fun!!!
