Tam Dao

This was taken on our first day in Tam Dao. It was the best weather we have had yet. The tower you see in the background is the TV tower. We hiked that transect this morning. There are a total of 1200 steps leading to the tower. It wasn't that bad because we move so slow to watch for the butterflies. However, due to the humidity and mugginess they were in hiding. Did see a few though but no species that we haven't already seen. The Buddhist temple is on the way up to the tower.

Ms. Winzeler, first off I would like to apologize for the previous comments I made. I had forgotten that other people were looking at it. I do actually have a question. What are the sort of TV shows that you watch in Vietnam?

Hey Ms. Winzeler, how are you? We all miss you. I can't wait to see the tela-conference tommorow. So far how do you like Vietnam? What is your favorite butterfly? In Elementary school we went to a butterfly sanctuary and that was amazing...I can't imagine what a whole forest of butterfly's look like.

This is so awesome!!! To my amazement, the 8th graders were very interested in your adventure. I would love for you to come in and talk to them when you get back. We can switch classes for a day if you want--and have time. Can't wait to show them this latest blog. I am so impressed by you and this whole experience. Have fun!!

Hey Ms. Winzeler, how are you doing? Probably pretty good I bet in a place like that. You are so lucky! I see why all the butterflies live there. I bet it is because of how beautiful wild life is there. I wish that you could bring somthing back for me and Matt to see. Even though you can't, we are still happy that you got a chance to go and you will probably remember it forever. Wish you were here but happy you are having fun!

Your best and favorite student,

Hey Ms. Winzeler, I hope all is going well in Vietnam. The picture you took of Tam Dao is so beautiful. I wish i could be in Vietnam so I could enjoy as much fun as you are. I wish that you could bring something back from Tam Dao as a souvenir. With the mountain's in the background it makes Tam Dao look even more beautiful.

P.S.
Hope to hear from you soon!

Love Adam B.

Hey Ms. Winzeler,
This picture is amazing. I wish that I was there. Have you been into the town yet or have you just stayed in the mountains? Also do you have any idea how far up in the mountains you are?

Hey Ms. Winzeler, I was just wondering if you have seen any butterfly changes with the climate. Also have you gotten use to the time changes with food? Are you full or really hungry at different times? I hope you are having a good time! Bye.

That tower is so pretty. I would of thought that walking 1200 steps would be hard.
