Many of you took an interest in the orchid poaching that was taking place in Tam Dao. Here is the rest of the process. They are taken and raised in an orchid house. The man is handmaking pots to grow the orchids in. The flower above is a result of all the hard work that goes into this trade. I took a picture of the orchid at Lien's friend's house (the beetle guy). In addition to beetles he had many beautiful plants including bonsai trees.

About how much do the poachers get for the orchids?
Wow! Those are absolutly breathtaking! Does an orchid had a certain smell to them? Do they even have a smell at all? Also, where are they most commonly found?
I only thought there were poachers for animals. There are flower poachers too? That's pretty weird!!
Are orchids hard to grow? Because from what I hear they are. They are so beautiful and colorful. I bet that the people that grow them there are very hard workers! Well I hope you get back safe!
Is the orchid Vietnam's national flower? Does it symbolize anything special? Why do people want to poach them?
